We have delivered mechanical and electrical services to 10 primary and nursery facilities for the City of Edinburgh Council.

Working in partnership with Principal Contractor Morris & Spottiswood, the works were part of a programme of refurbishments across City of Edinburgh Schools delivered via their asset management framework. A varied scope of works across the facility has included:

• Space heating
• Air conditioning
• Lighting
• Plumbing
• Sanitaryware
• Water services
• Small power distribution
• Communications
• Security and controls systems
• Fire and lightning protection

Works are undertaken whilst schools remain fully operational. Extensive planning and phasing of the works is undertaken during the pre-construction phase to ensure the safety of staff and pupils at all times and to minimise disruption to the day to day activities of the schools.

We have worked with the teachers and pupils in each school to deliver health and safety talks and take part in career days for the children so they can learn about jobs within the construction industry.
