This project comprised the replacement of the existing Air Handling Unit on Level 5, as well as the cooling and heating plant. Refurbishment was also carried out of the existing ventilation ductwork at NHS Lothian Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh.

As well as the installation of the new Air Handling Unit and roof mounted Air Conditioning system, a new automatic control system was installed to suit these new services. As the Eye Pavilion is a working medical facility, it was crucial to have excellent communications with the client and on-site management team, in order to programme and schedule around the occupants movements/traffic.
