At Livingston, there’s a great chance you’ll be involved in some really exciting building services engineering projects taking place UK-wide. The job satisfaction this brings is proved by the fact that people really like working for us. We’re very proud of our staff retention record, with over 40% of our staff having been with us for more than 10 years. Apart from our founding Directors - who started the company in 1992 - our longest serving employee is a member of our Contracts Department who joined us in 1994.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

We provide regular, on-going training to make sure that all of our staff are up-to-speed with the latest best practice. We invest in people from the earliest stages of their careers and have trained many apprentices in key trades, including plumbers, electricians, and ventilation, heating and gas engineers. We also have a graduate programme and support our staff so that they can undertake further education. Many of our people have completed a range of courses up to degree level in Building Services Engineering while working for us. We also invest heavily in management development, from front line managers and supervisors right though to advanced leadership and strategic courses for senior management at Salford University Business School.
